Storyteller: Palibu Patrick Nudjulu
A-Wanybi, A-Muying i A-Vilimindji is the ancestral knowledge of the MNagati Ke Rak Naninh people. Palibu Patrick Nudjulu is the senior custodian of this knowledge and Elder for the Magati Ke people. Palibu and his sole remaining sister, Bilimbi Agatha Perdjet, are the last full speakers of Magati Ke. This book and other resources have been reproduced to support transmission of knowledge and language teaching in the Magati ke community. The information in this story relates directly to the law and spirituality of the Magati Ke Rak Naninh people and carries many levels of meaning. While Palibu is the senior custodian and storyteller at the time of the recording, ownership of the story belongs to all Magati ke Rak Naninh tribal members, as do the country and totems described in the back of this book. Story includes CD. A unique resource that is ideal for educators wishing to expose children to different languages and dialects, encouraging an appreciation for linguistic diversity.
